WEAR YOUR SUPPORT

Our “Wear Your Campaign” is based on the red and black bi-directional “Black Lives Matter” ribbon, wristband and apparel products as a fund-raising mechanism for this modern civil rights movement for justice. Similar to the ribbons utilized by the National Breast Cancer Foundation and HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns, as well as the wristband utilized by the LIVESTRONG Foundation, BLCK Foundation (BLCK) was created not only to bring awareness but also symbolize and fund a crisis. The ribbon is a reminder of the struggle and a statement to others that Black lives matter. The ribbon also symbolizes solidarity, awareness and protest against the incessant police brutality and senseless murders of Blacks that have historically and most recently, been recurring across our nation

BLCK AWARENESS TOWN HALL TOUR

BLCK Awareness Town Hall is set to galvanize social, political and religious organization within the community.   The Town Hall will be held in Black Churches and/or Mosques across the country to help organization leaders tap into the collective wisdom of their community through large-scale meetings.  At the Town Halls, BLCK attempts to help attendees explore key issues, weigh critical trade-offs, and deepen their connection and commitment to next steps. The method integrates recent technology with facilitated dialogue, and provides the tools to enable groups to examine important options and identify priorities. The events will also serve as membership drives, money and material donations for local social justice organizations.  The admission to BLCK Awareness Town Halls are free and individuals from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to attend.  Events are held at location nationwide that have historical significance to the civil right movement or that are easily accessible for neighborhood walkers and those that use public transportation.
